Practical Mother's Day Gift Guide

To me, Mother's day is one of the most special holidays. Not only do I celebrate my mom for being my mom, I celebrate her for being my hero, my best friend, my rock and most importantly my guidance. This year is the last year before my mom and will start sharing mother's day because I become a mommy in just about a month or less - and I can't wait to learn from my mama!

I think the greatest gifts we can give our mother's is love and time - but it's always nice to spoil that amazing woman in your life with a little something special. I compiled a list of gift ideas that, I think, are practical for any mom in your life, the best part is - they're almost all under $40.

1. Personalized Map Print ($24)

How sweet is this? I love unique prints, but especially something that has meaning. Giving your mama one of these with a special/meaningful location would be a one of a kind gif-PLUS you're supporting a small shop/artist.

2. Spa Gift Basket ($38)

This is genius. Gift baskets are the best and if you're a lazy like me, this one is premade. Which mama doesn't like an at home spa day?

3. Car Humidifier/Oil diffuser ($20)

This is for my oil lovers and commuters. I commute to work so I totally need one of these. If you're mama doesn't have an essential oil addiction yet then first get her some of those but also she needs this. I personally love Young Living- feel free to ask me more about my oil journey.

4. Loopy Phone Case ($30)

A phone case with a spot to slide your fingers through. If you're mama is a phone-addict like my mom then this is such a practical gift, plus its super cute.

5. Her Favorite Perfume (prices vary)

You can't go wrong with a fragrance. Did you know that the sense of smell provokes more memories than any other smell. Get your mama a scent that will forever remind you of you and your relationship!

6. A Sentimental Book or Cook Book ($30)

Write her a note inside of the book and even choose a recipe to make together.

7. Good Quality Coffee Tumbler ($30)

All coffee addicts needs a good tumbler. This Yeti one is only $30 and comes in all colors.

8. Instant Pot ($99)

I have heard that everyone needs one of these; apparently you can make frozen chicken in minutes - um yes please? Which mom doesn't want the ease of this?! This gift is a splurge but oh so worth it to gift to your mama.

I wanted to wish a VERY special and happy Mother's Day to all of you mama's who have followed along, supported me, helped me overcome fears (and continue to do so). A happy Mother's Day to those mama's who have babies in heaven, to those mama to be's who are praying for their baby, and for those who struggle with infertility.

You are all so amazing and more special to me than I can ever explain.
